XTB has announced the appointment of Bartosz Osiński as a member of his board of directors with risk responsibility.
According to what was reported, the decision was taken by the company’s supervision council on August 26, with the appointment subject to approval by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF).
Once confirmed, Osiński will honor the XTB risk management system.
Osiński brings more than 15 years of experience in risk and financial supervision. He graduated from Boznan University for Economics with a master’s degree in computer science and standard economy, as well as completing the CFA level 1 and a series of specialized training programs.
His career began with the Polish Financial Supervision in 2008 before moving to House Brokers SA mediation as a risk specialist.
He later worked on Allight SA to assess capital requirements, before joining TMS brokers in the upper roles, including the head of the monetary flow department and risk manager.
Since 2021, osiński has been a member of the Risk Board of Directors of Oanda TMS Prokers SA, where he also held the position of Risk Manager and head of financial risk at the Oanda Group. His term will be concluded with Onda on August 31.
XTB said the appointment strengthens the governance framework by adding specialized experience to the board of directors.
The company added that the OSIński record in risk supervision mode puts it to support its continuous growth and organizational compliance.
