WorldLine entered into a strategic partnership with Yepay to enhance border payment capabilities across the aviation and fast -growing travel sector in China.

The company said that the coalition brings together the WorldLine Network with expertise in European aviation payments and the strong presence of Yepay in the ecosystem to pay travel in China.

Together, they expect one solution to international airlines operating in China and Chinese tankers are expanding globally.

With Yepay now connecting to the WorldLine network you get, airlines and travel operators will benefit from faster settlements, improve compliance with Chinese and European regulations, and reduce operational costs.

Travelers will also get smooth transactions using local card plans, international credit cards and digital portfolios.

“By combining our global network with the unparalleled local Yepay experiences, we are creating a new standard for cross -border payments that benefit airlines, merchants and travelers alike,” said Biliana Bosnjak, deputy head of travel and hospitality in WorldLine.

“Joining Worldline allows us to expand our capabilities and support both Chinese and international transport companies with faster, safer and more efficient transactions,” said Yue Chen, co -founder of Yepay.

The companies said that the deal puts them to take advantage of the aviation recovery in China, as the cross -border tourism has returned to 80 % of the prenatal levels. The partnership may also extend to other areas of the travel industry, including hotels and online agencies.
