On Tuesday, Westpac announced that she appointed Caroline Macan, the CEO of the consumer, immediately, after a period of three months of acting in the department.

Macan, who has nearly 30 years of companies, has spent two contracts in banking and insurance services, more than 10 years with WestPac.

Before entering the role of acting in May, I worked as executive services and a group of customers and companies, supervising operations, fraud, prevention of fraud, customer and hardship groups, property flexibility, corporate affairs and marketing.

“Caroline is a prominent executive official and I have seen her ability to engage in high -performance teams to achieve results,” said Anthony Miller, CEO of Westpac.

Miller pointed out that under the leadership of McCann, the Westecak operations teams were “greatly improved by customers”, and the mortgage decision was reduced from 12 to five days, which led to the promotion of fraud protection to reduce losses by 40 %, and transfer complaints processing.

Miller said: “Caroline has brought these distinguished leadership skills to the role of the consumer, as it leads a team of high -end banking executives in addition to our wonderful employees throughout the country,” Miller said. “Caroline, vision and design will be one of the bank’s assets in this role.”

Wespak said that appointing what was guaranteing the correct mixture of experience, professional efficiency and energy to lead the Consumer Department.

Miller added: “With the right mix of experience, professional efficiency, teamwork and energy, we now have the team in a place to lead Westpac and I am excited what we can achieve together,” Miller added.
