Tradeweb Markets announced on Friday that it has appointed Sherry Marcus as head of artificial intelligence, as the company focuses on data -based innovation through its global electronic markets.
In the newly created role, Marcus will lead the Tradeweb strategy, which enhances the possibilities of discovering prices, choosing agents and analyzes for more than 3000 clients across the institutions, wholesale, retail and companies sectors.
It will present a report to the chief technology staff Justin Peterson.
Marcus joins Amazon Web Services, where it led the science and data team of 300 people behind Amazon Bedrock, the leading AI platform.
Its previous roles include the administrative director of data and AI in Blackrock, the managers of data analysis at Millennium Partners and the World Credit Suisse.

Marcus holds a doctorate in mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics from Cornell. Its appointments indicate an increase in Tradeweb investments in Amnesty International to strengthen its leading market platform.
She is currently working in many councils, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Club in New York and the Institute of Brain, and it was previously Member of the Consultative Council of the National Security Agency in addition to the Science Council at the National Center for Combating Terrorism.
