S&P Pow Jones Indices (S & P DJI), the world’s leading index, has announced the appointment of Catherine Clay as its new executive, as of November 1, 2025.

She left Dan Dripper, who will step down and remain a special advisor for a while.

Clay will also occupy the Darbur seat on the Board of Directors of the S&P Jones indicators and submit a direct report to Martina Cheung, President and CEO of S& P Global.

Its headquarters in New York, will become part of the company’s executive leadership team.

Clay joins CBOE Global Markets, where she worked as CEO and International Derivatives Vice President, supervising global options and futures as well as data work throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, Pacific and Middle East.

Its background extends to derivative markets, digital assets, data analyzes and financial technology.

“We are excited to welcome Catterine in the S&P Jones indicators, where our business will lead indexing, globally recognized as a major provider of financial market standards, data and research,” said Chiong. “Her disintegrated mentality and its centered approach to customers and extensive driving experience are vital for the future of the S&P DJI.”

Clay said she was “honored to have the CEO” and looks forward to building a “strong leg” of the S& P DJI.

During the Draper period, S& P DJI expanded a global imprint and completed a acquisition to enhance its ability to provide standards and data solutions for the wealth management industry.
