Online brokerage Robinhood said on Wednesday that it launched the browser -based desktop trading platform, Robinhood Legend, to UK customers.
Robinhood Legend, which is specifically designed to use the desktop for users to customize their trading setting, access data in actual time and trading US -free shares.
It also provides trading options for American stocks and indices for $ 0.50 per contract, without foreign exchange fees.
“The goal is that Robinhood is the first platform for active investors in the world,” said Jordan Senkler, President of Robinhood UK. “Robinhood Legend gives UK investors the speed, accuracy and allocation they need to stay at the top of the curve – with a strong, intuitive platform, beautifully designed and free.”
With more than 11 million UK residents currently investing through desktop platforms, Robinhood sees a clear opportunity.
Its research is said to show that many merchants are not satisfied with the current platforms, noting the weak allocation and complex navigation.
Robinhood Legend includes an advanced chart with 10 types of charts, more than 80 technical indicators, and the ability to display up to eight plans in one window.
Traders can also monitor assets in actual time and create direct orders from the plans or monitoring lists.
The platform began to launch UK users on Wednesday and will be available to all Robinhood customers in the coming weeks.
