Payments platform Payroc has completed its acquisition of BlueSnap, a Boston-based accounts receivable (AR) automation and payment automation provider, creating a unified platform for global digital commerce.
This combination combines Payroc’s direct acquisition network with BlueSnap’s API-first orchestration technology, providing a single integration for cross-border, cardless transactions and automated billing.
The deal was announced in July, and officially closed on October 9.
“This closing represents an important milestone for Payroc,” said Jim Opperman, CEO of Payroc. “By integrating BlueSnap’s orchestration layer into our acquisition network, we can deliver global, enterprise-level CNP coverage and automated receivables at scale.”
Gavin Ciccinelli, president of BlueSnap, said the acquisition was a “game changer” for customers, who will now benefit from “expanded distribution and enhanced resources to accelerate global innovation.”
The combined company aims to simplify payment complexities and reduce time to market for merchants and software providers expanding internationally.
Customers will have access to local acquisitions in key markets, unified reconciliation workflow, and enhanced developer tools.
Bayrock said the integration represents an important step in redefining global payments, positioning the company to deliver integrated payments and enterprise-scale automation to businesses around the world.
