The US Securities and Stock Exchange Committee (SEC) announced that the CEO of Operations Ken Johnson will retire in December more than 20 years of service at the agency.

Johnson has played COO since 2017, as he supervised the operational and administrative jobs of SEC.

These include human resources, acquisitions, financial management, information technology, Edgar Business Office, and support operations such as record management and facilities.

SEC Paul S. Chairman said. Atkins: “Kane was an integral leader in SEC for more than two decades.” “This agency and the country have ultimately served, which enhances our mission through its amazing supervision of SEC and administrative functions.”

In thinking about his career, Johnson said he was “an honor for life to work with exceptional employees in the Supreme Education Council.”

He added: “I also want to provide a special appreciation to the operating and administrative professionals of the committee, who are skillfully behind the scenes to ensure that the agency can continue its cash work on behalf of the investors and our markets.”

Before COO became Johnson, SEC’s financial manager from 2010 to 2017, and before that as a management analyst. He joined the agency in 2003 from the Congress Budget Office.
