CBOE Global Markets unveiled the size of standard monthly and separate options in September, driven by strong demand for index products such as the S&P 500 options, while trading across stocks and clearing operations also witnessed strong growth.

The Mashqat and the paper from the securities said that the total options circulating in the four American stock exchanges have reached the average record number of daily (ADV) is 20.5 million contracts in September, an increase of 46 % over the previous year and 18.8 million in the third quarter.

Index options trading also reached a new rise, increasing by 27.1 % year on an annual basis to 5.25 million contracts.
