CBOE Global Markets announced on Monday that it appointed Prashant Bhatia as CEO of the President and Chairman of the Institutions Strategy and Corporate Development, as of September 2, 2025.
The company revealed that in its role, Bhatia will work with the CBOE executive leadership team to improve the company’s commercial strategy, determine growth opportunities and enhance its competitive position through global derivatives and share securities.
“Prashant will be a high value to our driving team because it works with us to improve our strategy, improve our business, and explore new growth opportunities for the Pennsken Bank,” said Craig Donohou, CEO of CBOE Global Markets.
“His strong understanding of our competitive scene and strict approach to financial decisions will enhance our ability to achieve long -term growth for our shareholders.”
Bhatia has worked as a consultant to the Board of Directors and CBOE Board of Directors since December 2023.
He previously spent more than a decade in the institutions of institutions and companies development in TD Ameritrade, where he was supervising both organic growth and acquisition.
Earlier in his career, he worked as an arrow research analyst that covers brokers and asset managers in the financial services industry.

It brings more than 30 years of global experience in financial services for its new role.
