
Western Union revealed on Monday that she appointed Vince Talent as the first vice president of the Pacific President of Asia.
The move comes at a time when the company is looking to accelerate its growth through the channels of the digital ecosystem, retail and broader in the region.
Tallent has extensive experience in Fintech, communications sectors, media and technology, as it led growth strategies and innovation of services in both advanced and emerging markets.
Recently, he held the position of CEO of Saudi Fintech Saudi company TIQMO, after the roles as CO and Financial Manager.
Its previous positions also include the upper leadership roles in Fintech and TMT companies, the leading parts of Asia, the Pacific, the Middle East, and Europe.
“Vince’s leadership and various experience will be invalid in expansion of technology -based financial services, as we continue to enhance our position in Asia and the Pacific,” said Giovanni Angelini, President of the Western Union in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Pacific, said.
Talent said he was “pleased to join Western Union at this pivotal time for the company,” and highlighted his ambition to provide “innovative solutions that focus on customers that enable individuals when they send and receive money.”
Tallent holds a master’s degree and is a colleague at the Legal Institute of Administrative Accountants.
